Is still cold in Holland…
After the snow we now have ice in the canal. In the pictures we are on the canal with Joshua.

The Dutch go crazy when there is a possibility to skate on the canals in winter time. Last winter I experienced this myself for the first time. However my husband also likes to practice ice skating in summer time. They call this skeeler. There are 5 wheels mounted on a skate and braking is almost impossible. So you have to be very carefull. Below an impression of my husband skeelering.
Winter time! On January, not only the small canals in the park in front of our apartment were frozen, but also the ponds and small lakes. My husband tought me how to do ice skating on the natural ice. He was a good teacher! We did a 5km ice skating in the park. See the ice skating pictures.
