Sinterklaas is coming to town! 

Every year Sinterklaas comes to the Netherlands to celebrate his birthday on 5 December. Sinterklaas (Sinterklaas is not the same as Santa Claus) is a special celebration for children only. The children will get, just like with Santa Claus, presents on Sinterklaas birthday. Sinterklaas lives in Spain and typically arrives 3 or 4 weeks before his birthday.  Last Saturday, we went to Delft Centrum to celebrate Sinterklaas arrival.

Last week we went to the Consultatieburo. Joshua now weighs 9.890 kg and his length is 75 cm.  He has become more active than before, running all over the room. He loves to clap his hands and loves to dance  too. From his 1st birthday on, he start sleeping through the night. I only give breastfeeding before he goes to sleep. During the day he takes a nap for one to two hours after lunch. He is starting to eat by him self (see the picture). Tomorrow, Joshua will get his first shoot against Mexican flu ( a vaccine againts swine flu/mexican flu). A second shot is planned om three weeks.

In Bali we stayed in a villa in Taman Mumbul Nusa Dua and we visit some of the beach in Nusa Dua too.
